In this case, it seems like it's creating a bitmap-style image file, because the eraser will erase a "blob" around the cursor instead of entire strokes. If I create a "handwriting" note on Android, it's editable on Android. Regardless, it sucks because it's inconsistent. Now that I think about it, I guess you could still be right - it's probably saving it as a vector image file, but the handwriting is editable. If I re-open it in Windows, I can click the "eraser" and it will erase entire strokes at the click of a mouse. If I create an ink note in Windows and try to edit it on Android, I get an error that it is a read-only note created in another editor.

I use Evernote on Windows and on Android. To answer /u/Werewolf_Appears' question, it doesn't support adding images or anything else, unfortunately.īut it is more than a static image, because I can later go back to my notes and edit them, with the caveat that I must use the same editor. Slight correction: If I go to File->New Note->New Ink Note, I get a notepad with drawing tools which I can save as an ink note.
